Adding a calming water feature to your garden doesn’t have to be hired out to a professional. Neither does it have to be expensive. With these easy to follow steps, you can be ready to enjoy your new water feature in a matter of hours. Here’s a list of what you will need.
Tools Needed:
- shovel
 - rubber mallet
 - level
 - wheelbarrow to mix cement in
 - drill with a hole saw
 - screwdriver
 
Items Needed:
- sump (fiberglass pond)
 - large pot (flower pot)
 - a length of PVC pipe that a hose can fit through (about 8″)
 - silicone sealer
 - galvanized grid
 - platform to place over the sump (holes will be placed in this, along with an access panel for the pump)
 - submersible pump
 - pebbles (river rock)
 - bricks to make a pedestal for the pot to sit on
 - river sand
 - cement mix
