How To Force Spring Bulbs to Grow Indoors

We know when Spring if officially coming when we start to see the Tulips popping out of the ground looking for warmer weather and sun. Sometimes, they need to make their way through the fluffy snow to give us hope.

If you have Spring Fever and you simply just can’t wait for warmer weather, maybe you should just bring Spring inside. You can “force” Spring bulbs to grow indoors by tricking them into thinking it’s winter.

You’ll need a few things to get started:

• You can purchase a special forcing vase specifically for your bulbs. If you don’t have a special vase, you can use a normal vase as well. 
• Get your bulbs – it’s very easy to grow Tulips, Hyacinth and Paper White Narcissus.
• Decorative rocks or sand for your bulbs to sit on top of, if you’re not using the special forcing vase.
• Potting soil
